Welcome to Rogate and District Riding Club

We are a riding club based on the West Sussex / Hampshire boarder. We primarily hold events at  Oldwick Livery Yard, Lavant Nr Chichester, Rackahm XC and BE Centre, Nr Pulborough and The Royal Artillery Saddle Club, Thorney Island . We have many upcoming events, for all abilities, including; clinics, camps, show jumping and dressage. We also have social club rides and evening events such as Hog Roast & disco, pub quizzes and meals out. For a more comprehensive list of events please see the 'diary' page.


The club ethos is 'fun with your horse' and the Committee is dedicated to ensure that the club is friendly and supportive. No matter what your ability or what standard you or your horse is working towards, it should always be fun!

Sunday 14th September – XC Clinic with Russell Cooper at Fair Oaks. £35 per person with 4 people sharing a 1.5 hours lesson. To book in please cantact Russellcooper.russell@hotmail.com

* * * Fun Show * * *
‘Back in the day’ fun show at Thorney Island on Sunday 7th September. All fun classes from years ago. The show will start with some jumping, to include bareback, pairs and others to be confirmed. There will also be a Chase-me-Charlie class. Barrel racing will also take place before we make way for the Gymkhana games, pony express, flag race, walk trot and canter etc. A day not to be missed!
